Cities with the worst credit scores are not always suffering the worst foreclosure rate or the highest unemployment rates. It is the combination of the two that drag an entire city’s average FICO into the cellar. Many of the cities on the low end of the list are endemic of America at this time. There is still a lot of work to be done in order to fully resurrect the American economy. But one thing is for sure: if you need an auto loan in Wausau, WI, you have a better than average chance of getting approved at a low rate.
