Sharon A. Beckford, 48, has been officially charged with fraudulently getting a loan to purchase a vehicle from a dealership in Waukesha earlier in the year. The Milwaukee woman was charged with a felony count of theft, false representation over $10,000, in Waukesha County County Court on March 8.
According to court documents, the accused bought a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu for $15,466 from Boucher Chevrolet on January 2 with financing provided by Americredit Financial Servicers that was gotten with two pay stubs. It turns out, the complaint alleges, that the pay stubs were fraudulent. So if you’re in the market for an auto loan in Waukesha, make sure you are as honest as possible on your application!
